Painted Pot :)

Yesterday I finally painted the pot I bought for my mum for Christmas. I had hoped to get it done before Christmas but she said I could leave it until we got back home after Christmas because we were so busy beforehand.
In terms of what to paint on it, the only thing I had to go on was that she wanted it to be black and white. So I painted it white before we went away for Christmas and then yesterday I figured out what I wanted to paint on it and did it - see pictures below.

I tried to incorporate a few different ideas. I found the design in the first photo on the internet and really loved it - this part of the design is my favourite, and my mum's favourite part. The second and third photos show the Mackintosh-inspired sections - this was suggested by my lovely sister. It wasn't quite as bold as the other parts so I had to play around with the design a bit and also use thicker, bolder lines for it. The last photo shows a random design I came across while researching on the internet, I really love this design, and the layering of the white and black elements.

That looks really awesome! (And yay, I was useful!) The different designs really set off the plant as well. Good job!
