Demi Lovato obsession...

Yeah, this week I've been listening to a lot of Demi Lovato stuff, it's great fun.

My favourites of the moment are 'Catch Me', 'Every Time You Lie' (nice and bouncy...), 'Here We Are Again' and 'Don't forget' (much less bouncy, but very interesting). I shall probably add some on to my blog player, but I need to go do work in a minute so won't do it now...

Went over to lovely Esther's for dinner today with Sophie, Georgia and Matt. Was good fun, it was nice to hang out with them all. Just got back from being home for a week, didn't do enough work, need to do A LOT of work tonight and tomorrow (mainly tomorrow, it's already technically Saturday but you know...)
I figured out how to play 'Try' by Asher Book on the piano, so that's been what I've done for a lot of this week, plus various other piano pieces of course.
I've brought my piano back to uni with me, hopefully I'll not spend every waking minute on it and will actually do some work...
But yes, all is good, I'd better go do a bit of work now and then head to bed...

Mix of Music :)

I have become completely addicted to the song 'Try' by Asher Book, from the film 'Fame!' which I went to see a week ago on a whim (some other people were going to see it and I thought it sounded vaguely interestig). The film was excellent, and this has become my absolute favourite song from the film - though there are lots of very good ones. So I'll need to add that on my blog player I think...

In other news, I'm going home this afternoon! Just for a week, but I'm ridiculously excited about being able to play my piano tonight. I didn't realise how much I missed it until the last couple of days when I thought about actually being able to play it. Yay! :)

Oh yes, I went on the bus to a big-ish city yesterday, certainly big compared to where I'm living atm, lol. I wanted to spend the day at the library but it's closed for the moment, which is a bit annoying, so I went shopping instead. Bought some very nice chocolate, and I bought a nice shirt. I spent the bus trip drawing people on the bus, it is actually very difficult to draw while on a bus, it was both amusing and frustrating at various times. But I like the drawings I've ended up with. I was listening to my mp3 player on shuffle and ended up with very strange combinations of things, most of it was actually my brother in laws stuff (I bought the mp3 player off him and he left his music on there, so I left it there too, lol). So I listening mainly to brass band and wind band music, with occasional snippets of 'The Goon Show' and some of my own stuff - Christian pop, some slightly more hardcore rock (early Skillet stuff), and quite a few times Stephen Fry's voice came on saying something odd (I have the audio book of Harry Potter and the Halfblood Prince on there), the oddest time probably being when he said something along the lines of "he's going up there with a variety of students, how many people are in on this? said Hermione", lol.

But yes, good times, I'd better go get some breakfast and then head off to the library, just got one lecture this afternoon and then will be off home, yay! :)
