Just thought you should know.
New ultimate fave songs (for this week :P) are 'Does anybody hear her' - Casting Crowns (see music thingy on this page) and 'I am hard pressed' - Lou Fellingham (couldn't find it to add to the music thing - actually there's nothing by Lou Fellingham on there, pity).
Favourite bit in 'Does anybody hear her':
[[If judgement looms under every steeple; if lofty glances from lofty people, can't see past her scarlet letter; and we've never even met her]]
Ooh, just found it on myspace, go here to hear 'I am hard pressed' by Lou Fellingham.
Also, this (and my other blog) may suddenly change in appearance sometime. I'm v. interested in designing cool pages and stuff and I've made a really cool myspace one and just recently found a place where I can get some premade codes for blogger pages which I can then change with my knowledge of html/logic etc. Shall be coolies.
Must go now.
When I have something to say, here is where I say it.
I blog about music, films, books, life in general, whatever takes my fancy :)

Vaguely happy bunny now
I didn't post the last blog I did, firstly because the internet stopped working when I tried and secondly because it was basically a long rant about computing and a couple of particular people who got on my nerves today in it, why choir is annoying and a little bit on why/what I was thinking of dropping this year but am possibly not. I thought it wasn't very fair to be complaining about particular people on here (though I have done before...) and I felt a bit mean. Also, after typing it all out I basically got over it, so that's good. Am feeling better now. Have been singing loads today. 'Tis goodly. It cheers me up and makes me happy :D.
I can now roughly play 'Breakaway' by Kelly Clarkson on the piano so that also made me happy.
Oh yes, I'll put in the first line of my last post:
"Hehe, I just found out there's a building called 'The Royal Liver Building', lol. Yes I know it's actually pronounced 'ly-ver' but it's still amusing."
So there you go, exciting stuff.
I didn't have to go in til 2.15 today so that was v. cool - Psych was cancelled.
Wasn't exactly the best day (hence the rant) but now I'm over it.
I'm a nice person really I just rant on here because it makes me feel better as the only person I really rant to is Carol (lucky her) and she's not here all the time + it's a bit mean when she's wedding preparing to bug her so I can rant when I could just type out my anger (I feel a bit sorry for my keyboard). And plus it's nice to spend the time I do get to spend with her talking about nice things (though it usually means talking about wedding stuff, which is exciting and nice but eventually gets extremely boring - sorry Carol).
Ooh, I remember a quote from yest:
"I'm relaxing. You watch DVDs, I herd sheep" - Carol
Lol, though she snapped at me later because she was annoyed that her creature lead accidentally got stuck to a seagull and she couldn't get it off so you see, it's not that relaxing! (She was playing Black and White btw, just in case you thought she was running around outside herding sheep or something; though that would be very entertaining to watch).
So yes. Going to a music taster thing today so that should be interesting :D.

Music!
Well, I made a new (and fantastic) myspace page, I made the whole background and messed around with code to make it. I was very unhappy to find that I couldn't add music without it being the sort you can't turn off (because you couldn't see the controls) and I know how annoying it is to not be able to turn music off a page. Therefore I took the music off again (or rather, turned off the autoplay) so people will say "Isn't it pretty?" rather than "Isn't it pretty? but how annoying is this fricking... grr" etc.
But, as some consolation I thought I'd add the music here on my blog instead :) I'm sure you've noticed by now (unless your sound is turned off of course). Unfortunately the 'One Girl Revolution' Superchic[k] song jogs but I forgive it because I like the song so much. So I hope you enjoy that.
I still have yet to put all my Hogfather quotes up on my quote blog. Perhaps that's what I'll spend tonight doing. But perhaps not as it is already 23:04.
Went swimming tonight, glad I did, was good. Swam 21½ lengths and ½ a length using a flutterboard :P, so I'm pretty happy with that. Still, I'm amazed at how out of breath I get, darn this long time of not swimming. I knew I was unfit but I never really put it to the test much (hence the fact I'm unfit, lol).
In other news I've been thinking about college and doing a third year etc. I think what I'd like to do is AS Art this coming year and then do A2 Art, A2 Computing/Psychology (whatever I drop this year) and a couple of AS's as a third year. That is, if my results aren't quite what I want this year and/or I want to study something art-ish at Uni. Had a long talk with Auntie Sarah (Sparkle's mum) about it today and it seemed so simple but now I'm having second thoughts again. I don't know! I kind of wish someone could just tell me what to do. It would make it so much easier. But then again I might end up in something I hate. But that's still the same with me choosing. Ech.
I don't think I'd really enjoy 3-4 years of management/businessy stuff at Uni, that's why I'm not sure of what to do. Jess (my tutor) said that it doesn't matter too much what you choose to do at Uni (unless you want to do something like medicine) because future employers mainly want to know that you stuck with it the whole way and managed to organise yourself etc. enough to get through. Makes sense really.
Need to get a job soonish, or at least apply. *sigh*
I know where I want to apply but I'm a bit scared :(.
Darn my shyness, it's what's held me back for so long.
Anyone know a way to get over shyness?
(Though I'm sorry I won't be taking any ideas involving things like running around town dressed like a telletubby yelling "I'm a lunatic" and looking like a right fool, to make me never be embarrassed again; yes it would work, no I would never do it)
Anyway, shall go now. Enjoy the music. Enjoy life.
Dance in the rain.
Sing like no one's listening.
Forgive as you would wish to be forgiven.
Laugh like no one can hear you snort. :)

Lateral thinking puzzles
These are from a forward I got from my cousin Catherine. I thought they were interesting so I decided to shove them on here for general interest. Eventually some become easy to guess. Answers will be put in a comment on this post so that you can look at them afterwards, I hate all that scroooooooooooooooooooooooooooooolling down stuff. It's annoying. Enjoy.

THINKING PUTTY!
It just looks so cool. Check it out for yourself. I so want some! Perhaps I will get some eventually. The blue colour-changing one, the black 'attraction' one and the glow in the dark krypton one look the coolest. There's so much awesome stuff on firebox.
Also, something else I want to buy sometime is some sort of DespairWear t-shirt. See some for yourself here, click the different titles for different ones (e.g. WARNING LABELS, SUBTEXTS™, etc).
I'll put some pictures of my favourites here... once I save and upload them...
Side note: my overall favourites are the 'warning labels' as they are rather amusing :)

The second one -shock hazard - would suit me fairly literally as I've been known as 'Static girl' a couple of times. "Every time we touch..." moments. Lol.

I'm good really... *evil grin*
Lol, nuff said.
Oh so cute! On an adult I think it would be presumptuous, perhaps a conversation starter but others might just consider you an arrogant idiot.
On a different, quick note; my history exam today went alright it was a lot better than I thought it would be so that was good. I had a choice of two questions, the first I would never be able to answer, the second I thought I answered quite well. So that was good. Just got my communications exam and C3 maths to go.
Previous note I also didn't mention, went to Cotswold with my parents 2 weekends ago and it was quite good. Cotswold is very pretty. Went to the model village, that wasn't very exciting but was kind of cool. In general it's just a nice little place. And I got some cool earrings from there. My parents bought a £124 painting which was rather extravagant I must say but I agree that it's absolutely gorgeous. See picture below - note the fact that it doesn't completely convey the beauty of the painting as it was under artificial lighting and is now pixelated. Note: Click for much bigger version.

In other news, I re-read Maskerade and then went to see a play version of it with my family. I was invited to it by my friend Becky who was in it so that was quite cool. It was actually done brilliantly though I thought Perdita's hair should have been different (the girl was wearing a curly blonde wig - I know Perdita is described as having 'good hair' but I always imagined it as a sort of mousy brown bob or something like that) also Christine's hair should have been blonde but it didn't matter too much because the acting of the person playing Christine was brilliant (I've just re-read that and just to note I'm not saying the Perdita actress wasn't good - she was). Nanny Ogg was amazingly well played. Mistress Weatherwax should be skinnier with more natural grey hair and a slightly different appearance but I thought the actress was still excellent. All in all it was really good. Though a quick annoyed note to the person at the theatre who made a mistake and directed us to the wrong theatre which in the end caused us havoc, slight stress and the annoyance of being late to the correct play. We thought it was a bit odd when our seat numbers clashed with other peoples'. But yeah, that's life, people have bad days, it's not their fault really.
Re-read Stormbreaker, excellent book.
In the process of reading a book called 'The Game' - a true story about Neil Strauss - a.k.a. Style, who became an amazing pick-up artist and I don't know the rest as I'm only half-way through. It's a bit dodgy (as can be expected really) and it's not the great but it's intriguing to read about how obsessive people get etc.
Also in the process of re-reading Hogfather and marking it for quotes. It seems to me that there are great quotes on almost every page so as soon as I'm finished there will be a huge page on my quote blog probably quoting the majority of the book. For best effect read the book yourself of course. And some bits you may not understand without reading previous bits. I probably won't pick up on them as I've read it several times. Oh, if you didn't know Maskerade and Hogfather are by Terry Pratchett, amazing author; side point: has a cameo as the toymaker in Hogfather the film. Coolies.
Going now. Quotes to sort out. Sleep to have. Etc.
