World Through Your Eyes

I discovered a beautiful song today, 'World Through Your Eyes' by Reuben Morgan. It's fantastic, though I'm not that great at singing it seeing as it's based for a guys voice so I'm singing waaaay up high or waaay down low, but some parts are in my comfortable singing range, I can actually sing it all, it's just that it's a little difficult. But it's just a lovely song, I was just listening through the songs I've got on windows media player and I've found one of the CDs - 'Discovery Kit' is a variety of artists and has really nice music so I'm listening to it now.

I'd love to see the world through God's eyes, that would be so awe-inspiring, we see the appearance of people and the things we don't like about people but although God sees that he is also full of love for absolutely everyone. That would just be... amazing.

World Through Your Eyes
- by Reuben Morgan

Hear the silence shout,
highest praise
God to You alone
All creation waits
On Your every word
Where time and heaven meet

Let me see forever
With eyes You've opened
Standing in the beautiful light
Hold me near
Hold me near to You
And let me see the world through Your eyes

In this perfect hour
I am changed
I'll never be the same
Help me follow You
And keep in time with the sound
Of heaven in me

Let me see forever
With eyes You've opened
Standing in Your beautiful light
Hold me near
Hold me near to You
And let me see the world through Your eyes

Hide me in Your love again
Let me hear the songs of Your heart

Let me see forever
With eyes You've opened
Standing in Your beautiful light
Hold me near
Hold me near to You
And let me see the world through Your eyes

"And all this time
I thought that we were friends
My stubborn will is learning to bend.

...

I'd like to know if you'd be open
To starting over from scratch
I'd like to know if you'd be open
to giving me a second chance"

Busy Bee

Haven't blogged in a while, forgotten and been rather busy. Exams coming up! Ech, lots of revision to do. Luckily I recently discovered a few ways that I can revise quite well. Using pretty colours seems to help too...
I'm in a very singy mood right now, not quite sure why though... Kinda odd seeing as I haven't had a particularly spectacular day or anything.
REALLY WANT TO GO TO NZ :(
Been missing NZ quite a lot recently, not sure why now but... yeah. That's life.
Got to do lots of art... I'm doing Botanical Illustration for my exam - Native NZ plants. So I've got to do loads of artist studies and studies of NZ plants and sketches of final-piece ideas etc... Don't even know which of the two exam sessions I'm doing... Need to find out.
I'm going to wean off reading for a bit, I really need to do more revision and less reading. It seems to be working at the mo. The main annoying thing about revision at home is that my computer doesn't like the revision site http://samlearning.com and so it restarts sometimes when I press the 'done' button so I never get to see my overall results; luckily I do get the answers along the way. But yeah.
Gotta do lots of stuff (e.g. update site, revision, LOTS OF DRAWINGS) and so I'd better go now
Toodeloo

(There you go Chels, I blogged, you can stop bugging me now :P)
