I have a new nickname

A new nickname to add to my collection, yes. According to Tannya I am Hazel Nuttella and also Radioactive Hazelnut. *shakes head* my friends are so weird... Hehe I wrote a creepy story...
Well, part of a story. We have to do malevolent/nasty fairy tales. I did Sleeping Beauty, mine's shorter than most other peoples, we were supposed to do a short bit - part of the story - all nastified. Tannya's is really good! Scary Rapunzel luring princes to her tower and stepping over crunchy skulls. Anyway, here is my passage thingy:

Entering through the dark doorway he gazed at her unreal perfection. With a kiss, he woke her. Ensnared by her beauty, he noticed not the icy gleam in her eye and the venomous smile but a deceptive charm which swiftly replaced them. Gliding down the shadowy stair, she paused, glancing back at the dark, sombre place where she had dwelled for what seemed like eternity. He turned back and took her hand. They continued to the castle. Soon she would ascend her throne and be omnipotent. Her eyes darkened and gently closed as she dreamt of the future. No one would stop her now.

Tannya says it sounds like a 'thingy on the back of a book' , I think she meant a blurb (I think thats what you call them), hinting at the story but not telling it. Other people like it, I think it's not bad so yeah...

Anyway... today I was talking to Tannya in English (Yes I realise it's the same subject...) and I found out that she ate a plastic fork! She's so weird. She used to eat candles when she was little.
The quote I've gotta put on my site soon that I got today from her was:

I've injured myself, it's not good. My ankle is really sore when I walk on it, well it's a bit better now but for a while it really hurt, I think it might have something to do with the fact that I broke it in NZ, twisted it many times after that (In Rome on the cobbles and such) and I wear wedge heels to school, not the most practical... Will have to look for flat black shoes somewhere, I'm sure I own some...

Going to attempt to read the Silmarillion - Tolkien. The descriptions of the Valar interest me but I haven't got enough interest or understanding... I should read Narnia as well, I only ever read one book and I didn't get far with that one, I got bored as far as I remember. But I did say that about Redwall and LOTR but now I love 'em so I really should read Narnia, I think they do look interesting, hmmmm I think Carol's got some. Gotta nick some more books. And go to Library. Yes... and do homework and buy material for Art. And sleep. And update my site. Too. Much. To. Do. Want. To. Ignore. Work. *sigh*

Random!

I was a bit confused when I heard my name being spoken on the other side of the classroom in Science today. It was Chelsea who said my name and when she looked up from the small group meeting at me I gave her a questioning look which she didn't respond to but instead went "Yeah and Hazel..." I couldn't hear more. Confused, I went back to my work. A few minutes later Samuel went "Hazel!" and I looked up, he said "How old are you?" When I told him Laura, Sam, Samuel, Ieuan and Chelsea started clapping which amused me. I am of course, young to be in the year that I am in. I then had to explain why I was, to Kirsty and Jason clapped along with the group before asking "Why are we clapping?" When I told him he went "I'm turning 16 soon!" and started clapping, no one joined in, awww :P. It was an odd lesson...

Other than that, today was rather normal. Missed NZ because people are bringing in photos of when they were in year 6 with each other and when I was in year 6 I was still in NZ :(. Wanna go home!!! I will be going to NZ in July next year if we can get the money together! Yay! Looking forward to it, hopefully we will be able to afford it, I'd be so disappointed if we can't.

Plenty of hmk to do and S.Sci presentation still to do... *sigh*

Grr...

I really don't like my Seperate Science teacher, she just... argh!!! She really gets on my nerves. She told me off today for being lary. I was simply stating the obvious she failed to see, I quote:
"What are you doing it on? (Presentation, she meant verbally/powerpoint etc.)" - Mrs R.
"This *point*" - Me
"Powerpoint?" - Mrs R.
"Well thats what it is isn't it" - Me
Then she was all "Excuuuuse me! I don't have to put up with this" etc.
She told our class she wanted to just walk out, the people in our corner were hoping she would. She did for a bit, yeah, we want to get rid of her soon as possible. Any teacher who we actually learn from would be far better, I'm sure she's a nice person but she's a rather crap teacher if you get the gist.

Apart from that today was alright... Went shopping and got some black felt for my art project and some red glitter card for potential christmas card making. Gotta get round to that sometime... Need to update site too. Hmm... too much homework.
Gotta get S. Science presentation done for Monday, how annoying. It's not like she really gave us time to do it or organise it or anything, course not! *sigh*. Babbling is good. Nyah, how much do I really know about Sulphuric Acid anyway? And how much do I care? Zilch.

This year is the year in school I should be caring the most, unfortunately it is quite the opposite, I get frustrated and give up, I'm getting worse at school, not so good *sigh*. But it is my grades and I will have to live with them afterwards. Got plenty to do... too much... gonna explode due to stress...
*breathe* Caaaalm. Ah, feel better now.

Now I have finished my babbling. Been reading again, quite good book I suppose. Borrowed All American Girl: Ready or Not from the library, that should be pretty good. Should do History homework... *ponders* hmm...

Oh yes! I have an interview at the college I am pretty sure I wanna go to, finally! There was a delay coz... I'm special and they had to sort out some extra stuff, nyah. Got it on Monday 10am, wish me luck!

Hello my dear friends,

I have had a rather blech day. Woke up, went to school (still half asleep) and yeah. Had a sleepover on Fri with Tannya and Kat which was brilliant! Went with them to see Elizabethtown too which was really good. Time raced by. Read lots recently, now onto 'Jake Black' by A.J. Butcher. Good book so far, good series. Not much to say today really... can't think of much. Gonna go to Xmas concert singy thingy tomorrow to see if I can perform in it, Well I will be seeing as the music teacher asked me to but you get the gist.

Oh yes, Tannya finally dyed her hair black. I wasn't sure how it'd look. Doesn't look too bad I suppose, I think she would've looked better with just black underneath. I think black hair makes her look a bit unhealthy lol but I suppose she wanted the very pale look so, yeah. Well she likes it anyway which is what matters :D. Back to reading...

Today was a normal day

Nothing interesting really, finished homework! All is good, well mostly anyway. Tannya and Kat should be sleeping over on the weekend, and maybe Chels, should be fun. Anyway, I must be off, sleep beckons.

Wandered round...

with Tannya and Kat today, went browsing. We were going to see Elizabethtown and we got the tickets and then we realised they were the wrong time and I had to go back and ask them to change it. After a while wandering and browsing we realised that we might not be home in time if the film was 2 hours so we went back to the cinema and I asked what time it ended, it was 10 minutes after we really needed to be home, darn. I got our tickets refunded, aren't I good.
I felt very proud of myself afterwards, I would never have done that last year, too shy!

After that we came back to my house and played Sims 2 it was very fun :D.
They just left a few minutes ago.

I'm going to the church fireworks night tonight which should be fun. Will have to remember to blog later...

Crying...

Is annoying. When I cry anyway.

I used to cry when I got hurt or when I was really sad but I don't do that anymore. Unless I'm really seriously hurt. I figured out today that I cry when I'm angry. I did it the day I got pissed off at school and today when a teacher really irritated me. Plus unfortunately, my eyes water quite a bit recently (I think it's the lack of sleep...) so I was crying and had watery eyes too which made it worse... But I'm always tired and often stressed so whenever I get angry I just cry. It's really weird... I need therapy or something lol. Well as Carol said "At lease you don't hit people" Which I suppose makes sense.

Today wasn't the greatest and wasn't the worst. I had a good time at youth group yesterday, Youth group is like the highlight of my week. On Sat I'm going to church fireworks which should be fun and then sometime during the weekend I should be going shopping with Tannya and Kat.

Hmmm... I should update my site...
